  • In my 22 years of marriage, I knew we weren't doing fabulously. Our communication was so-so. I felt we were going through the motions and I wanted to get back some of the feeling I had in the beginning of my relationship. I wanted a workshop that was close by and not too expensive and I liked the fact that Gal and Liron were a married couple of therapists. The experience was great and so was the location. I have been to some other workshops but this was by far the best one I have attended. There was such good content and I learned new ways of looking at my issues. I feel I have new tools to deal with the problems that will come my way. As a lifelong learner, I'm glad that there is cutting edge research to explain some of why we humans do what we do.

  • My wife and I are in our 60's and took Gal and Liron's "Breakthrough to Love" 2 day workshop. We both have done some couples counseling in the past and have spent conscious effort to deepen our relationship. We were both deeply affected by the various instruction and experiential exercises offered in the workshop. Gal and Liron have designed a way to learn on multiple levels, they offered guidance and provided many opportunities for us to deepen our understanding of each other. They both create a very safe space to explore and normalize all types of relationship dynamics. We both felt a deeper ability to listen and to love each other. This was well worth our time and money! • My husband and I attended the workshop on June 17, 2023. I am so grateful for this workshop since it was transformational. I am now aware of the differences between my husband and me and the similarities because of this workshop. Before the workshop, the hurt and resentment would not allow me to get close to my husband, and after the workshop, I fell in love with my husband all over again after 11 years of marriage. I am realistic that we will face future challenges, but we now have some tools.

  • The time we spent with Figs was well worth it. He is such a compassionate person and really helps you to reconnect through empathy and understanding. Everyone should have sessions with Figs:)

  • I find Fiachra has the heart warming ability to entertain, instruct and heal all at the same time. Is it his Irish nature or his timing? I believe it's rare to find a man who can be so clearly masculine yet soft and heart centered at the same time. On one occasion I was working with Fiachra during a group therapy session. It was a particularly vulnerable and emotional time for me. Figs was able to have enough presence to connect with me while coordinating everyone else to provide a healing container. At one point Figs directed everyone to hold me, and then he took me step by step through my rage and grief in ways I had never experienced. This was a real gift to me because as a 6'4" tall man I can feel I am just too big for the world and the people around me. This is especially true if I am feeling grief and frustration. Fiachra guided me into my feelings in a way that I never felt alone or out of control, and coached me to move through a place where I was very stuck. I am grateful and so appreciative of his abilities as a therapist. I highly recommend Figs to anyone who wants to become their most authentic self, is dealing with grief and loss, or just wants the support of a gifted therapist.

  • Figs is a super sharp and insightful therapist. He’s also deeply sensitive and empathetic. I know him as a colleague, having participated in workshops and professional development trainings with him. He is warm, tuned-in, and perceptive. I appreciate how he uses humor to make it easier to work with challenging emotions. He is easy to connect with, accepting and caring. I am always happy to have the chance to refer clients to him because I know they are in good hands. He does individual therapy and couples counseling / couples therapy in San Francisco and Marin.

  • Brendan is a remarkable human! As a therapist, he is engaged, warm, insightful, and caring. I saw Brendan almost every week for over five years, and he helped me navigate a series of very challenging circumstances in my first years in San Francisco. His incisive questions and observations helped me become aware of, and confront many beliefs that were keeping me from being my best self. As a queer therapist, Brendan understands the unique challenges and nuances of dating and relationships in the LGBTQ communities, and brings a perspective that very few therapists can. Brendan provides a safe and non-judgmental space where anything is on the table for discussion, and no topic is taboo. He is passionate about what he does, and is always growing and evolving. Anyone who gets to spend time with Brendan is better for it.

  • Brendan is a highly skilled therapist but is also a wonderfully kind and compassionate person. I have been in and out of therapy for 20 years but of all of the professionals I've worked with, Brendan is the only who offered me the skills and tools to truly support myself outside of therapy. His empathy is such a gift and I can always count on Brendan to meet me exactly where I am while also introducing new resources and techniques for continuous growth. This is just one of the many things I truly appreciate about working with Brendan - his own openness and curiosity inspired the same within me, moving me through my fears and self doubt into the space of self love and limitless possibilities. Thank you, Brendan!

My friend recommended me Sara, because she has problems in her relationship and after few consultations she and her husband now are more happy then ever. • Sara Alexander is excellent marriage counselor. She was great at identifying behaviors of my wife's and mine that caused serious conflict in our marriage. She helped us to learn how to express our feelings and how to change our behavior that led to negative results. Without her help, my basically good marriage most likely would not have survived. I highly recommend you to try her marriage counseling service if you are wishing to improve your marriage! She is really amazing person and very professional as a marriage counselor!
